§ 00

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or playing Molecular Defense ("the Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Game. These Terms apply to all versions of the Game on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and Android.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

§ 01

License to Play

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and play the Game for your own non-commercial entertainment purposes, subject to these Terms.

This license does not allow you to:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Game or its content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the Game to any third party
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks
• Use the Game for any commercial purpose or for any public display

§ 02

Leaderboards & Game Center / Google Play Games

Molecular Defense offers leaderboard features through Apple Game Center (iOS) and Google Play Games Services (Android). By participating in leaderboards, you acknowledge:

• Your in-game display name and score will be visible to other players on the global leaderboard
• Your scores will be visible to your Game Center or Google Play friends on the friends leaderboard
• Leaderboard data is managed by Apple and Google respectively — not by us
• We have no ability to delete individual leaderboard entries; requests must go to Apple or Google

Use of Game Center is subject to Apple's Terms of Service. Use of Google Play Games is subject to Google's Terms of Service. You must comply with those terms in addition to these Terms.

§ 03

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Game in any way that:

• Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Cheats, exploits bugs, or uses third-party software to gain an unfair leaderboard advantage
• Attempts to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Game or its integrations
• Impersonates any person or entity or misrepresents your affiliation with any person or entity
• Submits false or fraudulent scores to any leaderboard

We reserve the right to report suspected fraudulent leaderboard activity to Apple or Google for investigation and removal.

§ 04

In-App Purchases

The Game may offer optional in-app purchases processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By making a purchase:

• You agree to the billing terms of the relevant platform (Apple or Google)
• All sales are final unless the platform's own refund policy applies
• We do not handle payment information and cannot process refunds directly
• Refund requests must be submitted to Apple or Google through their official support channels

Virtual items, currency, or upgrades purchased in the Game have no real-world monetary value and are not transferable.

§ 05

Intellectual Property

The Game and all of its content — including but not limited to graphics, sound effects, music, code, game design, and the Molecular Defense name and logo — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any Game content without our prior written permission.

§ 06

Third-Party Services

The Game integrates only with Apple Game Center and Google Play Games Services. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of these third-party services. Any issues with Game Center or Play Games should be directed to Apple or Google respectively.

§ 07

Disclaimers

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that leaderboard data will be preserved indefinitely.

§ 08

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Game.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which may be zero if you have made no purchases).

§ 09

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through an in-app notice or by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Game after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

§ 10

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration or the courts of the jurisdiction where we are registered.
